I finally had to call this a DNF. I loved parts of it, but the oppressive evil overtones and dragging pace were exhausting. Plus some of the characters were so...expected.

DNF- I really tried. The blurb was good! The writing wasn't bad, but the story was disjointed. Why would you fist someone during their first sexual experience?
