I’ve got way too many good books on my TBR, so I’ve been letting spin the wheel make decisions for me, and next up is this one! I’m trying to get through my library books before tackling my own, so there’s that. I know nothing of this book and author, but I’m excited to give this a try.

Good morning, except it's not a good morning because I'm still absolutely devastated over the death of my favourite deranged villain Key.

Sarah Rees Brennan why did you do this to me?

I’ve most definitely already said this at least twice this year, but this book might (also) be a favourite of mine now. Unless the author fucks up the ending. Which I hope she won’t.

What if I want Rae/Rahela to end up with BOTH Key and Cobra/Eric?? Because why the hell not amirite? Like Key saying he’a willing to kill “everyone” for her and Cobra being Cobra. Ugh

I'm liking this so far, except the constant mentioning of Lady Rahela's breasts. Like, the point was made the first time. Her breasts are not crucial to the plot that it would be necessary to constantly remind the reader how big they are. There's a lot more that makes a woman desirable. The plot itself, like the actual plot, is intriguing and I'm excited to see where it goes.

I'm once again ignoring the fact that it's the second book in the series and that readers suggest reading the first one before this (the first wasn't available at the library and I'm not gonna wait, so...).
