At this point I can say that it is a good book, although not fully won me over ... there are some very sensitive issues, I speak of SPOILER
attempted rape, and for me a sexual assault MUST always be reported and the offender shall ALWAYS end up in jail! So the explanation that things will "settle"differently in the south not at all goes well for me. I hope Lance ends where he deserves..in prison.
