Worth reading half a dozen times

Looks interesting. I know almost nothing about ancient Egypt - but this book should change all that...

Pretty good - but more about melancholy technological dystopias than godlike machines..

Re-reading fr first time since teenager. Feels weirdly profound... Like winnie the pooh...

Ideas are fun, the writing style is bait weak... I'm wanting to like it more than I do, but it's still not a bad way to chillax at the end of the day...

The interesting thing about writing of this period is the interest in character and opinions, and sentiment. The Victorians really believed that these were fascinating topics - but already JA and GE wee beginning to poke a but of fun...

Chapter 3. GE reads a lot like JA.

His first book, I think. Seeing mixed reviews here at goodreads.com, but I shall give it a shot.

Just discovered where many of Gaiman's ideas for American Gods came from! (Doesn't make me like that book any less of course)
