I read this to my two sons before bed. It took forever. This is a great adventure story. I recommend this as a stand alone read for anyone who can handle the four-hundred-fifty page or for any dad or mom that has the were-with all to stop a book when the good part is coming up but realizes the youngsters are sawing logs. I think I liked it most of the three of us.

Solid read. A priest contemplates his life and actions, more bad than good, while under persecution, that potentially will leave the memory of him beyond what he determines he deserves.

Great book. I read it aloud to my boys. Good cadence and an interesting exiting tale.

This is a great adventure book. Right up there with say Kraukauer’s Into thin Air. I’ll give it 4+ stars
