Butthead really. She’s 29, 29!!! And constantly calling the detective names like butthead and spanky. I was really looking forward to this book and I just hate these characters

I get she’s not a detective but how stupid do you have to be to continue to tell suspects and witness information on a case that your trying to clear your name in

Their banter is rather immature. Not endearing, not kick your feet cute or sexually tense but childish

This author is on it! These characters are so good

What! SHE HAS A SECURITY SYSTEM!!! And she knows a killer is after her forgetting to arm it doesn’t seem within character

Why is this women taking on all of her parents debts and saying things like “one day, if my parents ever stop surprising me with more debt”
Is she going to be a complete pushover- girl cause damn I just don’t like those characters

I don’t think I like Nova. I get she’s supposed to be this bad ass, knife wielding, sarcastic strong alpha wolf but honestly she does nothing but antagonize everyone around her. That’s not a leader. She’s in the vampires home, her pack treated him horrendously and she just struts in like she owns the place, talking down to him in front of his people. Showing him and them ZERO respect. It’s really immature

Oh thank god this FMC isn’t an idiot!!! She told the cops the blood was hers. That makes me feel a whole lot better about the direction of this book

I’m afraid this is going to be one of those books where I’m yelling “dumbass” constantly. There’s blood on the pavement, the csi team is taking a swab and this FMC doesn’t even mentioned she tripped and fell there and has the scratched up hands and knees, the the officer yesterday would have seen. Nope by all means let’s wait to mention it till they accuse you of murder.

Like seriously calling tarot readers charlatans but in the next breath taking about the “gift or curse” of being a gazer. It’s a rather jarring take

That was a little weird, the way her “gift” was shown to her. The clear skepticism of aunt Ibby with all things psychic and metaphysical but sure seeing pictures in shoes is fine. Like WTH

The RAGE I felt reading this

I made myself a promise: If the kids ever said to me, “Can I talk to you for a moment?” I would stop everything. “Yeah. Let’s go. Let’s talk. Let’s do it right now.” I’d turn off the burner, push off the errand, or have the child stand nearby until I finished whatever I was doing

I hate these characters. Every last one of them. The bitch of a cop should be fired. Same with the “hot” cop who doesn’t seems to have any personality. NONE of them seem to have a personality but the bitchy cop who’s bitchy for no reason. Why am I still reading this…

I don’t think these “friends” like each other at all. How the fuck do you thing your good friend since elementary school murdered someone WHEN YOU WERE WITH HER

What is wrong with this detective Laurel. I get she bullied the FMC in high school but why is she all pissed off at the FMC. They haven’t seen or interacted with each other since highschool. They are all old enough to be in careers yet I get a very immature feel from EVERYONE

Adele is a complete idiot. I hope she’s not this stupid the whole time

It’s not something I want to read, even if it’s only a sentence or two
