woman in 1915 have been as haunted by the patriarchy as the woman today are. it’s sad really… minus the casual use of eugenics I loved this book. the world she built and story she took you on was fascinating and entertaining.

I think I’m just not a fan of his writing style. This was good but only towards the last 10-20% of the book. It easily could have been 100 pages shorter in my opinion. The story just fell flat for me.

historical fiction will forever be my favorite genre. 5 stars. aviation, Hawaii, woman… gimme gimme
