So I’m about halfway through, and I’m struggling. It’s mostly the dialogue that goes on between Rowdy and his genitals, and calling it Cocky. It’s so completely off-putting. I’ve had a streak of unfinished books, and I was really hoping this would break the chain. Looks like it won’t be happening after all. Sigh.

Mariana Zapata has a new book coming out in 1 week and I am sooooooo here for it. Cannot. Wait!

Seriously, Mariana Zapata… I NEED a new book right now. Two years is TOO LONG!! (On my knees begging is my newest look!!)

I am… struggling with this one. I love this author’s books usually, but I am not loving this couple at all.

DNF 35% - ugh I’m on a roll with DNFs. I must be in a mood.

I’m going to read this tonight, in memory of Julie Garwood, who passed away on Thursday. She was my favourite author for many years, and her historicals still have a place of honour on my bookshelf. RIP Ms Garwood. Thank you for your words.

This book is not good. I’m struggling to finish it, which is so sad becauseI loved Heather on the first two seasons of SLC. She is not a good writer (or maybe she chose a bad ghostwriter.) Honestly, how many metaphors does one sentence need?
