I get the hype. This is real good. Suzanne Collins sure knows how to pace a book, my god.

Went on a train for 50 minutes and am finally reading again. This is weird and good.

Being in his mind is a PRISON

Reading this with a friend who has only seen the movies and she assumed this book spanned the entire series bc it’s so excessively large.

Being in Edward’s head is a curse. He’s like a miserable little incel who knows he’s irresistible to women.

Audiobook is narrated by a 37 year old man and just adds to the camp of this whole thing.

Started reading this the day before it became even more relevant…

Became enraged about the new Sydney Sweeney ad campaign and immediately picked this up off my bookshelf

Reading this with more scientific foresight is WILD. You can tell Crichton didn’t like environmentalists even in 1990. He genuinely makes an argument that diminishing the ozone layer is good for the planet through the mouthpiece of Jeff Goldblum’s character.

I’ll have more thought on the full review.

V good. Newman’s death in the book is gnarly.
