Reading these books is slow because my brain wants to stop and rerun scenes with my character all the time XD

I'm not ACTUALLY reading it right this minute. I added this early because it's coming TOMORROW :3 *knock on wood*

The plan to re-read a decent amount of the novels in my collection this year hasn't been going very well. I have re-read a few things but most of the time I'm reaching for new books. :(

I suppose I still have a few months left. Maybe I should switch priorities

This story is silly... and so wholesome and cute x3

The number of illustrations in this is already making me smile

Is it terrible if I dnf a book because the dragon in it is a feral monster?

Like it doesn't feel fair because it's not like it makes the book BAD It's just not what I care to read

An annoying message has been introduced to the story here.

I want to believe that it's just an opinion by this one character but I have a feeling the story is going to run with it

I think I forgot to update my progress last time I read

Still enjoying this!

It's so weird getting a "face reveal" in the text when the character's face is uncovered on the cover art XD

Like... it barely even registered for me that he had a mask on because every time I grab this book boom there his naked face on the cover.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to call it bad but it is funny.

I think I'm starting to get used to the present tense ^_^

Random thought, but I think I should alter how I count DNFs for my little star chart

I had it so DNFs just don't get a star but I'm thinking that's not fair, because it's not MY fault if I don't like a book, and slogging through it as far as I can should have a reward of SOME kind

I think I'll put them down for half or a quarter or something (depending on how far I get) so they can eventually make a star

This book is written in present tense. I hope I get used to it soon because my brain keeps trying to tweak it to be past tense and it's distracting XD

Gosh.... now I'm torn between wanting to read Where the Dark Stands Still and re-reading An Enchantment of Ravens...
