3 1/2 hours in.

MC's bad attitude continues to rage even after learning things about the ML to be sympathetic over. I am losing my patience with her.

I'm about two hours into this and so far it is doing what a certain other book I DNFed semi recently was trying to do... except it's actually doing it well.

Mostly.

I hope MC chills with the attitude soon. I will (reluctantly) tolerate what I've seen because her situation sucks, but if she spends much more time like this I might have to have to rate the book an "ugh"

I'm having some issues with this book. Like.... not enough to make me dnf but enough to where I think that it's probably not going to win the Kindle Game

A pity because there's several things about it I like a lot

I ordered a few more kindle books... two that are left in a kindle-only series I already have three of, and 4 that are quite probably going to be the last "OG Kindle Game" contenders.

Soon will begin the new Kindle game of "can I read everything on my kindle before it breaks because I'm not getting a new one for a good long time if ever"

Apparently Amazon is suspending services for certain kindles and my paperwhite is one of them?!?

How bloody rude?!?!

I figured out a plan for my never-ending TBR shelf issue!

I wanted a way to do short sprints but that's kind of impossible when you're a chronic mood reader that keeps adding and swapping books on your TBR shelf.

It's the "Book It" system!

Seems obvious to me now but I need to focus more on a tally system for books completed rather than an actual physical shelf of books.

I think soft-planning how I'd cram illustrations and/or color into the margins and open spaces of books has elevated my reading experience.

I need to pick a book and do it already! But It has to be a re-read and I still wanna thin my to-read shelf...

I got caught up with the Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling manga and I cracked open the fourth light novel to see where the new content starts and... it starts in the last quarter of the book.

Can I count the book as a read for the challenge if I only read the last quarter, or is that cheating?

This year I want to chill with the book buying a bit.

The past couple of years I've had a goal to beef up my bookshelves. I'm not unhappy with that goal -I've found some really great stuff!- but it's also sort of left me feeling a bit... over-consumery

I'll continue to collect vols for series I'm in the middle of, but mostly I want to sit with what I have. Re-read some of my new manga, tackle my novel tbr list

I have completed my first short story! \(^u^)/

Now... about five or six left to go before I can publish it in its collection.
