So now we learned that Scrooge is a ruthless penny pincher, is making his clerk work Christmas Day, and lives in a gloomy house.

Okay well, so far I am the only one willing to narrate between us kids because they are struggling with the vocabulary. I’ll be interested to see if this increases their reading level and ability to use context clues for what they don’t understand. We seem to be following so far! Basically Marley is dead, be sure to understand that when we see his ghost, Scrooge is miserable, and his nephew is sweet.
