This absolute piece of shit.

The curse of looking at spoilers is that I love everything that is currently happening and also feel like I'm going to actually be sick.

I know what's coming eventually, and I HATE it.

Becoming clearer and clearer that I should have made time to reread The Secret Commonwealth again.

Robin Hobb just got a shout-out, so it's guaranteed at least 3 stars.

The way this modern-day, figure-skating AU of Wuthering Heights has me screaming. . . I was not prepared.

It's not as fun as the first book, but it has its moments.

I liked the ending of "Shine, Pamela! Shine!". It was a fairly mundane story, but the ending gave it a little twist.

"Spellbound" is probably my favorite so far. I liked the story-within-a-story nature, and I liked how they came together.

I liked "Blithe Spirit". It's a classic premise, but it still felt somewhat unique.

"Dogs in Jeopardy" was definitely not as strong for me as the first story. It was okay as a character piece, though.

I haven't read Kate Atkinson before. Just finished "The Void". It was a very solid start. It's got a Stephen King/Torchwood vibe. I could see it as an episode of Black Mirror.

This whole book has been upsetting, but what Ted Kennedy did to Mary Jo Kopechne is making my blood boil.
