Thought there would be no book that would feel good to read following Beartown and yet I think Baldwin might just do it for me. Not sure I'm prepared for the same amount (or likely more) of misery. We shall see...

Really enjoying the exploration of what a utopia could be like, especially through the eyes of a mexican woman. Still extraordinarily relevant to todays world (when is this not true of political writing 😔), also turns out the author is incredibly based (who would have guessed). Excited to try and finish this today :)
