i began reading this book because i am more socially and civically engaged than i have ever been, mainly due to the current political environment. it has validated my belief that life is better when one fights for what is morally right and has given me the tools and tactics to achieve righteous results through non-violent means. i can only hope my career as a lawyer will be only the beginning of such a life

going to try to finish this tonight; been keeping a lot of my thoughts on a notepad that i'll put in the review

i've enjoyed reading this as a slow burn, highlighting and notating the e-book from the gutenberg project with my thoughts and reactions. i've only gotten through the introductions of the brothers and their father, but i have already ascribed so much meaning to what is mainly a humorous narrative

some things are so indescribable, that even attempting to put meaning via words is frustratingly impossible
