It’s going fine. Research is underwhelming in parts where I’m familiar that makes me question parts I didn’t know about. I’ve read Ambedkars response to the partition and Gandhi’s. This seems to have purposefully painted a balanced view but balanced for the sake of being balanced.

That being said, it’s difficult to know whether I have a biased view too.

What a splendid book. There are a few parts that are dissonant with what Ambedkar says in his treatise, but it’s interesting.

When I visited Chennai this year in May, I tried visiting the British Council library in Mount Road. I didn’t read many books from here during my childhood, but just the sight of so many books in one place whenever I visited as a child, fascinated me. Unfortunately, the place closed down but the feeling of the love of books remains with me till date. Moore Market is one more such place !
