a funny, poignant and subtle comment on the shock that comes with grief and mourning a loved one. i wasn't expecting it to be so sad but also really, terribly funny. "i have my health..."

the cover and the following synopsis line made me feel things: “Is that a glass vase he smashed on her skull?”

i have a thing for mess and final girl heroines. this was grabbed off the bookstore shelf somewhat blindly but excited to see where it goes. it’s giving me Sleeping with the Enemy vibes but with more ha-ha’s and less scary classical music punches + slaps.

hard to put down

made me cry at jiffy lube and i'm only halfway. so far it's so good. and funny. Gabi is strong and patient and full of whimsical hope and a subtle but cutting snark that had me snort laughing.

this is a very slow burn. i think the flame has barely caught on. my god it's slow.
