I really like the way I’m drawn into the thoughts of the character.

I'm kinda diggin' this book! Find myself right alongside Polly.

I received this book for Mother's Day. It has sat, collecting dust, on the dresser next to my bed, waiting for me have time read it. It will continue to sit on my dresser, now as a reminder to not forget so many things. BEAUTIFULLY designed.

I felt like the author rushed to end the book, but I will likely read the others in the series.

Read chapter 1 to our youngest daughter yesterday! I may be biased, but the words brought tears to my eyes. Read for yourself. I hope you like it! I sure do!

listening on audio book. forgot how relaxing it can be to just sit and listen. loved the movie. enjoying the audio book a ton! moving on to part 2.

much, much better than Hidden Mickey

Having a really hard time getting into this book. Not sure if it is the writing style or what. Started another "Disney" book that is much easier to get into. this one is on the shelf for now.

My son's copy of this book is autographed by the authors. Getting excited to go back to Disneyland this year!

I cried tears of joy. I was drawn to the characters of Wen-shan and her great uncle. I cried when she cried. I laughed when she laughed. I ached when she ached. Yes, I would love to know how things turn out for her. I have an imagination, too, though.

Easy to understand terms of how communism and socialism works. Interesting parallels discovered in my brain, anyway.

I am emotionally involved in this book. I read a couple if reviews, but I realize that everyone looks for something different. I like the style. I always enjoy historical fiction, too.
