Pete is reading A Christian View of Philosophy and Culture (The Complete Works of Francis A. Schaeffer: A Christian Worldview, #1)
This is a 5 volume set that includes all of his books and other material. I've read them through already: last year. Now I'm going through thm again. He talks on a different level than I think. Should be a little easier the 2nd time around.

Pete is on page 134 of 248 of Common Sense Christian Living
Now that I'm working on my 6th decade I thought it might be useful to see how 'Common Sense" works in a Christian Family. I don't think the Schaeffers would be considered 'normal' but certainly fundamental. Well worth reading and thinking about.

Pete is starting New Living Translation-Life Application Study Bible
I'll be reading this slow for my 'Reading through the Bible in a year' program. To get a flavor of the version I'll also be reading it completely in 90 days. (give or take)

I read a page a day for now. The exposure to such a wide variety of writers is something else.

Pete is on page 388 of 416 of Jesus 365: Experiencing the Four Gospels as One Single Story
I read this through like a novel to get the idea of how these guys put the book together. I'll be reading it again beginning in January, following all the cross-references to pull in the OT and the Epistles.

Pete is finished with The Bible in 90 Days: Cover to Cover in 12 Pages a Day (New International Version)
Finished my first reading of the Bible in 90 days with the NIV: I thought it such a great exercise I intend to repete the process with my NLT beginning in January, and then the Moffatt version beginning in August.
