You know when you read a book and you spend the whole time thinking "Yes this is unique, well-crafted, and infinitely thoughtful.... but I dont like it"? Because thats my experience so far.

Easily one of the most impactful and important books I have ever read. Weeping in my kitchen and I have to take a break.

I am not kidding when I say this book literally disgusts me on a human level. I cant get over how pointlessly cruel it is, how much the author seems to hate women and minorities. I might have to surrender and DNF

It is very very very funny to me that Laura Bates spent so much time talking about the environmental impact of AI (one search on chatgpt apparently requires the same amount of power as 7 MILLION laptops charging for an hour), only to say a couple of chapters later "I used chatgpt to look up a historic source for this book, so it can be helpful :)"
