i am DEEPLY obsessed with this book

i have never been thrust so fully into a foreign world as i have been with this book. i’m spending half my time flipping between the chapter and the glossary to make sure i understand what’s going on. and it is so. good. somewhere between chapters 4-8 i got fully sucked in and now i am locked innnnn

we are going to try this ONE MORE TIME. audiobook this time. let’s see if it’s worth it lol

trying this again because i have crippling fomo & bend to peer pressure. i will say so far it's been much easier to get through as an audiobook. still beauty and the beast fanfiction though.

Listen this book is great but this audiobook is absolute garbage. She has a cold, there’s unedited sniffles, sound is panning around randomly, there’s random pauses in places that don’t make sense (like it’s not a chapter break or whatever you’d call it), and she just randomly pronounced Sgaeyl differently than she has all book. This is a STRUGGLE.
