Finding it a bit harder to get into this one. Will get better once they leave the camp. If I remember correctly, the 4th book is a lot better.

Not a fan of Thalia. It says in the book prior that she and Percy are a lot alike but the only similarity to me is they're loyal to their friends. Otherwise, she's a snobby brat.

I'm so glad nothing more than $10 was spent on this book. The idea is really cool but the execution has much to be desired. I can't stand the way it's written. Too much is said about how each person is feeling or why they're doing or saying what they're doing or saying. It's cringy at times. I'm really debating if I should just drop it. I'll read a bit more and see how it goes. I hope it improves but am doubtful.

I feel that the writer is quite amateur. The writing is decent but leaves little to the imagination & seems to tell us every single thought of the characters. I also don't like how it'll suddenly switch POV without warning. I prefer a chapter be from one character's POV & not different paragraphs in a chapter. I hope it gets better because there's too much rattling on & explanation. Could be shorter with less words.
