Behold my annual Colum McCann read in January!

the structure and plotting of this is… in the best way to put it, bold? The pacing is almost leaning to literary, which is not what I expected

Switched to Naxos Audiobook and I will not forget Kate Lock’s name. Just a few minutes in and the narration is absolutely magical.

“Didn’t you know this is the 28th August?” It is!! What are the odds that I’m reading this exact line on 28th August

The narrator would make a really good news anchor 😭 it’s a very specific style of narration and I’m not sure I like it (but it also doesn’t annoy me enough to stop but it’s close)
