"You like chocolate mousse, and so you agree with the author of the article that the end in view is good. You also accept the author's proposed means for attaining the end-his recipe. But you are a male reader who never goes into the kitchen, and so you do not make a mousse."

You are an idiot, and I hope you die of starvation.

First, casual mention of women. But they are just a group of individuals who partake in common experience, not readers or *gasp* writers.

This guy must have had a really bad ski instructor. And should have left his metaphors out for the readers' sake.

This book is a bit dated, and it shows. Every single human ever mentioned is a HE, and that's f*ing sexist and utterly boring.
If I have to follow the author's advice and mark my copy to make it mine, I'm going to turn every single one of those pronouns female or neutral, F you very much!

This one's hard to put down, but I'm hoping to fall asleep with my e-book reader in my hand at some point tonight.

Reading this book is like being locked up in a candy store for an indefinite amount of days, and being told that you'll have to survive on candy until you're let out.
The writing is gorgeously baroque and glittery and excessive, in true ESC fashion. Unfortunately though, it can also overwhelm the reader.

Still struggling with this one, and I'm not sure even a Måns quote can keep me engaged.
