The author relies on the same words and throughout the book which was off putting. She used 'smirk' in what seemed like every paragraph. And the phrase 'there were no less than... " way too many times. I also thought that there were too many" saved at the last possible moment" moments. But, all of these dystopian stories are pretty much the same so it was what I expected. I'll try the next one too.
