Its nice to have the Greek myths arranged in somewhat chronological order. Its easy enough for most to be able to place the titans before the gods, but after the rise of the gods and the rise of humans, it gets very easily muddy. And told from a storyteller point of view, while not unique, I think was well accomplished.

A little dry at times, but the snippets of crude humour Fry has thrown in do help

This sequel delves much deeper into segregation. I guess told from an adult Jean-Louise, it makes sense. Given the adult perspective, I'm also finding it much dryer than the first novel.

I am pleasantly surprised how much I am liking this. Even though the first half of the book is just an 8 year old girls narrations of the mundane everyday, it is still somehow interesting. I think all I can say is that it is well written.
