Arisa is a jerk. Not even the men were abhorred by Ushio's sudden transition. (though they were insensitive with their questions) Sakuma is truly a friend who shows up when needed and I honestly love that. I really relate a lot to both Sakuma and Hoshihara. This is a very fast read and I'm really enjoying it.

For the moment the book is a decent read. Part 1 was great! The back and forth perspectives between Sam and Sadie was provocative.

Part 2 and 3 on the other hand was a steep curve downwards.

The conflicts felt so forced! 4 to 6 were interesting and were decent overall.

7 and 8 were heart breaking to me, it hurt seeing the writing on the wall.

I have 0 idea what they're cooking in part 8. Absolutely none.
