It's good, but there's only so many times you can read a retelling of the same story, I think this iteration has taken me....1 year? Almost 2? Because of this

Enjoying this as in I can't put it down, and I can never decide whether I feel sorry for any of the characters cause of what happened to them, or if I hate the characters cause of how they are after what happened

A beautiful happy ending just occurred but the Gothic horror book has two more chapters, suspicious

Never before have I wanted to strangle words and pages so much as I do now.

While one character is so obtuse he wouldn't (and indeed doesn't) notice if the author dropped the plot onto his very lap, (not to mention he'd forget immediately) the other would never, even with a gun to his head, refuse to leave the comfort of his library!

An amazing book which I despise

My book has 1600 pages, don't know what Goodreads is on about. Fun book though
