book tries too hard to imitate real life and reality. it’s artistic, it’s lyrical and poetical and the imagery is beautiful but it’s very forced. tries too hard and ultimately fails.

ngl these people are kinda wack. our girly cleo put herself in a situation where she could’ve ended up cheating on her man and franks kind of a weirdo coz is this eleanor girl and him gonna cheat too like eeee 😭

I decided that I'd once and for all finish it and I did. it took me 2 months to complete it. I'd take less but it was so depressing that I had to stop. and then pick it up nearly 2 months later and I found that everyone was selfish and dispicable. hareton was the one true victim as nelly said. I was gonna rate it 2 stars but ended decided that I'd give it 3/5 due to the ending.

I'm more into Scarlets twin sister, Terris story than her
