It's pretty good so far! I will say, I really liked the first kiss between Kamzin and River, I think that was really well done, I smiled so big! It's pretty slow right now and I feel like I'm crawling to the end though. Excited to see the finish!

Why is it boring to me right now.... it’s almost insufferable :( maybe my expectations were too high

Hmmmm I don’t know if Schwab always writes like this, as I’ve never read any of her other books but I’m picking up major Fredrik Backman vibes... I mean, this whole omniscient 3rd person future predicting thing is so Backman-esque. I’m not sure how I feel about it. I love Backman. Well anyway.

I started imaging Ari and Dante as Troy and Abed from Community because their dynamic sort of reminded me of theirs and now I can’t stop... I think I need help. I can’t unsee them as Troy and Abed goddamit!

It’s sad... a little. I think it’s a good book, for sure, but I don’t like sad books because they make me, well, sad. And sometimes books can be sad in a good way but so far this just makes me kinda sad in a bad memory kind of way... well anyway, it’s not bad...
