VICTOR VALE. WAS NOT. A FUCKING. SIDEKICK!! 😮‍💨🔥

Rereading so I can read the final installment

Can’t wait to be reunited with my emo ace king Victor Vale

I’m already loving this

imagine being unaware that you’re gay and your are part of a staging of R&J where you don’t know who’s playing what part until the moment and your roommate who you are unknowingly in love with appears as ROMEO. I’d faint.

starting the halloween season reads😌

Laurence and Tharkay casually on first name basis with each other…oaughhhhh

also love their shenanigans always <3

one of the best periods of history to write a drama about tbh. it’s literally a soap opera

last chapter was perhaps the most fascinating yet imo purely from a political history standpoint. The way religious and political issues and conflicts were intertwined (religious domination = political loyalty; autonomy vs absolute power and territorial consolidation) and how the bohemian revolt triggers the first true annexation, which would define the empire for the next two or three centuries…interesting stuff!

last few chapters have been super fascinating—it has the gears turning for sure

reading this and understanding there is a vast unbridgeable gap between people who enjoy this and myself

this has been delicious so far

The prologue is proving this is going to be golden

the poster of Richard on the production poster with the text “ALWAYS I AM CAESAR” actually chilled me

Does the author know it’s okay to write romance and she doesn’t need to write dystopia

the tension is good but holy hell are these characters annoying lol. you can’t tell me half the school isn’t sick of their pretentiousness by now😭

Temeraire is going to go INSANE

I love love LOVE this series <3 I’m also developing the biggest soft spot for Arkady and his crew. All these dragons are just so endearing

I’m headcanoning almost every major character in this book as some flavor of queer. HAPPY PRIDE
