So far, this has been a wonderful read. Common is open and vulnerable, seemingly owning his flaws and sharing his life lessons. I highly recommend the audiobook if it’s available.

This book is nothing earth shattering for any single lady in her late 20s or older. The interviews are interesting though.

It may be my connection to Hampton and Virginia history, but it's been easy to find myself surprised and engrossed by details of daily life at NACA and NASA and the obstacles faced by the black employees (computers, engineers, etc.). It's also been a good reminder of how far we have and have not come in 60 years.

I expected comedy. I didn't expect how insightful his data gathering would be.

Witty, relatable, and sharp commentary on everything from group dinner norms, racial injustice, intersectional feminism, and religion.
