loving this so much. everything i had hoped for, so far. funny, whimsical, nice touch of fantasy,and a plot that will keep me up half the night!

I have such trouble sitting a reading classics for a long period of time. For close to the first half of this book,i found it pretty boring. once the strike happened, I was hooked. I am really interested to see how everything works out

only 7 chapters left! interesting stuff...not an easy read,but rewarding. finally at the point where she starts discussing her theory and how they got to it.

Okay,so that was a good 250 pages...but now I'm wondering why the book didn't end 20 pages ago and what could possibly happen with these next 50 pages...

finally,something interesting is going on...aparently,i am not a person who puts up with boring exposition very well

getting really angsty...why cant the girl EVER just talk to the boy and see who he loves? oh teen fiction...

damn these books! I know what I'll be doing the rest of the day...

wishing this was a little less sex, a little more romance. the plot is super intriguing, but the rough sexy comments are off-putting

I love the characters Mayfield presents in this book. They are hilarious and totally real.

This stuff is so interesting. the beginning was a bit over my head,but I powered through it. Expanding my mind for the new year ;)

Concept is interesting enough, so far. I'm having a bit of a rough time with the way the characters talk, I think bc whenever people in pop culture talk this way, it means they are a bad guy. cultural appropriation in the worst way, but I'll get over it. I love seeing this culture represented in this light, instead.

very interesting tale so far. kind of fascinating to see how the police had to work to solve cases

okay,I get that 2 months have passed,but how does he know that they are now calling him Jakab? he had to have met someone from his family or community at some point to know that they renamed him, and that seems like it should have been important...

really enjoying the premise so far. good twisted summer read

starting to get interesting. the problem I'm having at this point is that I feel like a total outsider (granted,maybe that's Bc the main character still feels like a total outsider). it's not drawing me in the way I feel like it is capable of doing

so far,this book is really strange. I can't decide if I like it or not. very dark humor,but it's almost like it's trying too hard.

hitting that middle of the book slowness...pretty writing though. especially for an author contracted by harlequin

this book is very hard to get through...she keeps saying the exact same thing about different murders over and over again.way to beat a dead horse.may not finish - glad I didn't purchase this one

the pacing of this book is almost too slow,but I'm gonna say that's typical first book syndrome when setting up a new fantasy world

so far,this book is very different from anything I've read before. one of those books that makes you feel smart,makes you think (and makes you look up words).
