I’m not saying they’re the same plot, exactly, but this so far is everything I wanted (and definitely did not get) from Mr. Malcom’s List. Very enjoyable and entertaining thus far.

I’m not captured by this one yet. I want to be, so hopefully it gets better.

Now that the author has moved the book into a hybrid format of some letters and some actual dialogue, the story is working so much better.

It’s taken me a bit to get into the letter/email/text style of the writing. I’m still not sure where I land on the format, but I’m still reading so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Meh. It’s alright but not quite living up to expectations.

Very good so far. Definitely stretching me, but in a good way. I’m reading this and discussing with my mom as we go, and that’s been such a cool experience.

This is awful. Such a bad book. I’m not sure if I’ll even finish.

Random thought: the short chapter format is working for this story.
