First book of the new year!! Let’s gooo

Incredibly detailed insight into the lives and factors in decision making of the poor.

I did read the synopsis and from that i can certify that the majority of the book happens in the first and last 100 pages, the rest is just a television drama on paper.

I had picked up this book in memory of the Late V.S. Naipaul. The significane of which is not lost in all the pages if not amplified but the need to make a book compelling was lost tbh.

Super excited for this book!

Man, there’s just something about Jhumpa Lahiri that I cannot get enough of.

I'm absolutely psyched about this book even though this is half of my history syllabus from 10th grade.

I have to say that is man can really write. I especially love this kind of first person narration writing where it's as if he is just sitting there with you telling you all about the empire and it's rapaciousness.

I really suggest you to pick this up.

P.s. You might end up hating White people after this book

Being a major dystopian fan, people are always surprised that i'm starting off with this just now.
