The most unpredictable series I think I've read, the imagery and prose is unlike anything I've ever read, such a strange yet beautiful style. The pacing is also fantastic, although remembering who is who has been challenging as the names share quite alot of similarities.

When i initially started i thought it would be a very cliché first-contact sci-fi novel with some vr game elements mixed in, but holy fk was i wrong. Such a unique idea and the pacing is lightning fast, which is perfect for me. So much scientific research and planning went into this for sure and the mystery surrounding three body is crazy

Joseph Lee is on page 235 of 355 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (The Tales of Dunk and Egg, #1-3)

Finished the 2nd of 3 sections of the book. Honestly, i expected the tales to be more grand, but they're mostly small deeds and battles on a smaller scale. After the small snippet of Duncan the tall from GOT i was expecting something like insane battles or 1 vs 20 type shit but its mostly been errands. No doubt about his bravery, but I just hope the last section shows something greater.
