Pretty sure my first go-around with this was around the year it first came out. A present from a friend, I think, Christmas 2007. I remember quite liking it back then, possibly because my friend loved it and through osmosis (possibly self-suppression to avoid conflict :/) I liked it too. Now, 18 odd years later, the titular character is annoying and boring the shite clean out of me. I'll skim read it at night...zzzzz

I'm hooked by this already. I will likely listen to this multiple times this year. And possibly go buy the illustrated version to satisfy my curiosity. An enjoyable and relatable writing style from author Giulia Enders and a lovely toned voice from narrator Katy Sobey.

Part 2 (Kathy's early acting career, mainly her twenties so far) is a bit of a slog. Not bad per say, I'm just not finding it as interesting or as intimate (sounds a bit creepy of me) as Part 1. It feels like the cadence has changed from Part 1... A bit ... this play, these people, this show, these people, this play, these people ... so yeah, bit of a slog. Taking a break from it for now. Try again later.
