I want to know what happens, but I don’t want this book to end! It’s been such an adventure with such personality and heart… such good humor! So much tension!!! Fantastic!

Loving the mix of awesome true to life internal monologue, raw emotion, lovely imagery, and admirable WEIRDNESS.

I love the main character in this novel. Will write more later, but the inner dialogue is amazing and the protagonist’s thoughts about being an entertainer/content creator ring true for me. I definitely feel understood in a way that I haven’t before due to this - kudos to the author.

Really loving these characters. I haven’t read much mystery, but I love the interplay between the older and younger characters, bridging gaps between folks who might not otherwise be friends or know one another… while some people may not typically enjoy so many different points of view, I find it charming! The author is successful in how he does this and I love the insight into the characters’ thoughts.

An old favorite, I decided to start listening to this on Audible. Stephen King blows me away with every book, but there’s something about this one that feels like an old friend. Love King’s prose, love the imagery, love Danny. Wonderful stuff! I’ve loved Campbell Scott since “Dying Young” and I am definitely enjoying his narration. I love hearing from Danny’s POV and his take on Tony is great, too!

Almost 20% in and may DNF. Protagonist is annoying, overbearing, and worse yet, a rapey acting character that is too over the top for believability.

Love this author's diction, use of atmosphere. Brilliant.

Not particularly enjoying this at a third of the way in, but it does spark some curiosity. The book is also feels fast paced, despite not actually being fast paced. I'm interested in seeing how my perception of the story changes as I keep reading.

Being the first "big book" I ever read, as a curious and horror-loving nine or ten year old (fourth grade), this story left its mark on my literary heart and soul. I don't remember why I chose it, in particular, but the same magic that gripped me all those years ago still exists in this SK novel. This book is an eerie whisper that reminds me why I fell in love with the genre. Fantastic.
