This book makes you feel small and incredibly special at the same time. To be a tiny part of such a huge cosmos seems almost unbelievable. This book is not written from a Christian perspective but I can’t deny that it caused me to give praise to the Creator’s mighty works. Beautiful illustrations.

Though not aligning with the biblical account of Dinah, this was an eye opening journey of ancient history. The Red Tent tells the beautiful story of sisterhood amongst women while giving a vivid picture of the culture of idol worship and polygamy they lived in. Diamant wove so much beauty throughout the stories of hardship experienced by Dinah and her family.
