Notes From Underground was unlike anything I’ve read before. Whatever horrible, negative, maggoty emotion or thought you think you’ve had, Dostoyevsky had it and wrote it a 150 years ago. It’s incredible and troubling to feel so seen by a Russian man from the 19th century.
