Iain Carnegie is reading Celtic Empire (Dirk Pitt, #25)
A bit far reaching in realism. Just how many times can one family have car crashes, boat explosions, gun battles, and near death experiences in one novel. Just a few too many for my personal preference. Reads like it was written by Michael Bay. A little too over the top for my liking.
On the plus side, the characters are funny and we'll balanced to keep it interesting enough to plow on through.

Iain Carnegie is reading Your Life Is Mine
Filled with all kinds of turns and plot twists. Fully engaging characters. In a society plagued with mass shootings and cult philosophies full of hate, this book will keep you up as it faces some extremely delicate and relevant issues in society today.

Good read. Felt it dragged a bit in places and was repetitive at times, but all in all was enjoyable. 7/10

Very quick read. Was quite intriguing, but was disappointed by the abruptness of the ending. Good read though.

Quick paced and good characters in this no nonsense thriller. Not usually a big fan of her writing, but this one may have changed my mind.

Awesome. You can feel Toronto on every page. I've stayed in Kensington Market exactly where this novel takes place. Wonderful descriptive text if the neighborhood.
