I have spent a month and a half getting to page 160 in this tome. I am not afraid of tomes the author or his editors have contrived to make what should be a very good book almost unreadable. It has chapter notes and in them, no legitimate sourcing. But interesting tidbits and references that should be in the main text add up to 20-30 flips back and forth to the detriment of readability. To the occasional pile!
