I thought this was a very heart warming book.
The main character is jaded from something that happened when she was 16 & hasn’t moved on. Throughout the book, she is evolving & is surprised to find that she had feelings, when she’s tried for so long, to have a hard shell.

I thought this was a good book for a debut writer. It was an easy read and easy to follow the different characters. Relatable if you’re an Irish Catholic family (but not necessary). I’m looking forward to reading her next book.
