I nearly fainted last night after the graphic descriptions of the blood sucking. I'm serious. I felt dizzy and nauseated and off balance. I love Anne Rice but am notoriously squeamish when it comes to blood. Eeek. The novel has a kind of hypnotic feeling to it which I am enjoying, though.
