"She hit like a girl, without any weight behind it" (p. 253) - as if this isn't bad enough. But then Quentin says "if only she could put things in perspective. Fucking women" (p. 255) Proving once again that Quentin is a shit, who totally disregards his girlfriend's feelings and is undeserving of her. The misogyny in this book is strong, and I haven't worked out if it's Grossman or whether it's just Quentin.
