This is exaaaactly what I wanted

Such a deeply inappropriate premise, I say as I click “play”

I canNOT BELIEVE IM 65% THROUGH AND I STILL KNOW NOTHING

So…some things in this book are helpful and backed up by empirical sources (eg, existence of circadian rhythms and sleep drive). My issue so far is the entire book is touted as evidence-based, but the basis of ALL her strategies (“sleep associations”) isn’t!!! No references at all starting at that point in Ch5 all the way until Ch7.

Feels like this is just traditional grandma advice with a side of wtf (if baby isn’t sleeping through the night by 4mo they’ve learned bad habits and you should ignore them all night?) but I’m gonna try to keep giving it a chance

Not excited about the soulmate trope but excited about everything else

I want to like this and continue but it’s SO heavy-handed

I think following this strictly with Sylvie as a big sister would be highly unwise, but I like the idea of picking as many practices as are realistic for us. This is definitely not a pro-hospital birth book though FYI

Cannot muster an ounce of sympathy for Daisy rn but would listen to Jennifer Beals read a grocery list
