Obviously not able to put down this book (at least on the weekend).

Gotta admit it: reading has been a challenge for me lately. It has to be REALLY GOOD, otherwise I'm probably going to put it down and leave it for days. I THINK this is going to do the trick. So far, so good. There's something very Umberto Eco about Doerr's storytelling. Feels a lot like "the island of the day before," at least in the writing.

Chapter 11. I had wanted to read this for a long time, but I was reluctant because I haven’t read any others in the Vanguard series. It hasn’t been a problem; the book is really good so far.
