Not reading

After reading many glowing reviews of this book I decided that I wanted to know more of Hannah More - a force to be recognized in England during the mid 19th century. I’ve read enough to know that’s true, but it reads like a college text book. No humor, no
pathos and hardly a glimpse at the woman’s personality. Therefore I’m moving on to something more interesting.

This is a daily devotional book that I am reading daily along with multiple chapters of the Bible. This book would be a good starter for someone who has never done daily Bible readings. I chose this because I have never read anything by Tim Keller and also because I love the Psalms. For a more in depth look at the Psalms I often read James Boice ‘s commentary.
