Damn the writing quality in this is kinda rough huh. I’ll give it 50 pages or so but I suspect this is going to be the exact kind of romantasy novel I hate 😬

This is a very good book that is unfortunately narrated by the least interesting person in it.

I have so many feelings about Kaz and Inej.

Going to drop this for a bit - I’m just not in the right headspace for it. Might circle back eventually.

I wasn’t planning on reading this right away, especially considering I just read Manacled a couple months ago, but here we are.

I’m going to put this down for a while. The characters feel bland and the plot lacks tension. I may circle back to it eventually, or finish the audiobook, but for now I’m going to DNF without rating.

This is finally picking up and it only took like… 270 pages.

Honestly, I’m not super hopefully for this after reading the first few chapters as the writing style isn’t really to my tastes, but I’m going to give it a shot anyway.

Considering DNF’ing this. I like it while I’m reading it, but not connecting with it enough to encourage me to keep picking it up.
