It's looking increasingly likely that this book will be on the DNF pile. None of the characters are engaging, in fact, I couldn't give a flying shit about them so far.
... And if I have to see another page that mentions the street & town again I'm going to fling this out of the window. It's a freaking horror story not a geography lesson!

I'm not sure who wrote some of the chapters in this book but the style is appalling. Sentences that overrun and packed full with typos and punctuation errors. The first book wasn't so bad so I suspect its John French. By far the worst Arkham books I have read

Wow, just looked up and over a 3rd into this novel, and it's really hard to put down.
