Howard Moore > Recent Status Updates

I don’t like to discard a book part way through, but this is not what I expected it to be. Victoria Wood was a star but this book has not been written in a way that reflects that at all. Unlike any of her TV work, I have found this boring and have struggled to get a small way through it. Very disappointing.

This seems to be taking a long time to read but I am enjoying it so much I thought I'd read each chapter/month as it comes. Only two days to wait to read June. Great read so far.

I started to read this book on Monday after purchasing it ready for the Book and Beer evening on 15th December at 'Booka' in Oswestry. Hoped I might have time to finish it by then but have been unable to put it down. First Patrick Gale book I've read but won't be the last.

Enjoying the book at the moment.
